Many of the most effective skincare actives — vitamin C, retinol, peptides, certain antioxidants — break down on contact with air. An airless system solves this: instead of drawing air in to replace dispensed product (as a normal pump does), an internal piston or collapsing pouch moves up so the chamber stays sealed and air-free throughout the product's life.
Building this mechanism inside a glass outer combines the active-protecting performance of airless packaging with the inert, premium quality of glass, which is why it is favoured by clinical and pharma-cosmetic skincare.
