Airless Vacuum Glass Bottles

Many of the most effective skincare actives — vitamin C, retinol, peptides, certain antioxidants — break down on contact with air. An airless system addresses this: instead of drawing air in to replace the dispensed product, as a standard pump does, an internal piston or collapsing pouch moves up so the product chamber stays sealed.

Building that mechanism into a glass outer combines active protection with the inert, premium feel of glass, which is why clinical and dermo-cosmetic brands favor it.

Typical fills are vitamin C and antioxidant serums, retinol and peptide treatments, anti-aging creams, active emulsions, and probiotic or preservative-light fresh formulas. The format suits premium and clinical skincare lines where ingredient stability is a selling point, as well as brands replacing plastic airless bottles with glass for sustainability or positioning. Sizes from 15 ml to 100 ml cover eye treatments through to body serums.

A glass outer houses the airless mechanism — either a piston that rises from the base or a collapsing inner pouch — with a one-way valve so air does not enter the product chamber. The pump dispenses a metered dose and evacuates nearly all the product, reducing waste. Glass color and finish are chosen for protection and prestige: frosted and amber for light-sensitive formulas, flint or sprayed colors for the look.

Airless systems are filled and assembled in a specific sequence so the chamber seals correctly and primes; fill level, vacuum behavior and piston or pouch travel should be validated with your formula. Component materials need to suit the actives. The protection only works if the mechanism is intact, so assembly and seal integrity are checked closely. The glass outer is formed conventionally by blow-and-blow; the airless mechanism is a separate engineered assembly fitted to it. Annealing and finish accuracy ensure the collar seats and seals, and complete systems are function-tested for priming, dosing and air exclusion. We offer frosting, spray coating, screen printing and hot stamping on the glass, with pump collars and overcaps in matte, glossy or metallized finishes.
