This Privacy Policy describes information processed when you visit glasspacksupply.com, submit an inquiry, use the Project Center or live chat, or contact us through the website.

2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, business email, telephone number, company name and job-related contact details.
- If you use the Project Center, your account profile details and sign-in records. If you create a password, we store a password hash rather than the password itself.
- Product interests, product type, estimated quantity, specifications, customization requirements, target market and project details.
- Messages, attachments, artwork, sample requests, quote details and any other information you send through forms, email, live chat or WhatsApp or include in your project requirements.
Information collected automatically
Our website and service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device information, user-agent string, referring or source page, requested URLs, timestamps, chat visitor identifier, and security or server logs.
We use first-party website analytics to record page views and approximate time spent on pages. These records include visited paths and page titles, timestamps, referring pages and campaign source, medium and name (UTM parameters), IP address, browser, operating system, device type, screen dimensions, browser language and time zone. When available, request headers also provide country, region and city information.
For these analytics, a randomly generated visitor identifier is stored in local storage (gps_visitor_id), and a session identifier is stored in session storage (gps_session_id). These identifiers associate visits and page views with a browser and browsing session.
When you sign in to the Project Center, an essential HTTP-only session cookie supports your session. We also keep session and authentication records, such as token hashes, expiry times, IP addresses and browser user-agent strings.
Project forms use local storage to offer recovery of unsaved details. Upload-session identifiers are stored in session storage for project forms and in local storage for unsent messages. Pending file uploads expire 24 hours after upload unless attached to a saved project or sent message. Attached files are stored with the project or message rather than as temporary pending uploads.
Our live-chat feature stores a randomly generated visitor identifier in your browser’s local storage so a conversation can be associated with the same browser.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Receive inquiries and project requirements, associate them with customer records, and display project messages, files and quotations in the Project Center.
- Send sign-in codes and project-related email notifications when those notifications are enabled.
- Support live-chat conversations and links to WhatsApp.
- Authenticate accounts, apply request limits and record authentication or security events.
- Record website visits, page views, approximate time spent on pages and traffic sources through first-party analytics.
4. Privacy questions and requests

6. Server and browser storage
Project Center accounts, requirements, messages, quotations and uploaded files are handled by the website’s server-side database and file-storage functions. Project forms and unsent messages also use browser storage as described above.

7. Stored records and temporary uploads
Saved account, project and message records are separate from browser drafts and temporary pending uploads. Clearing browser storage does not remove records or files already saved on the server.
Pending file uploads expire 24 hours after upload unless attached to a saved project or sent message. Files attached to a saved project or sent message are no longer treated as temporary pending uploads.
To ask about the retention of a particular record or request its deletion, contact sales@glasspacksupply.com. Include the account email or project reference, if available, and describe your request.
8. Your rights and choices
Your rights depend on the laws that apply to your information. They may include rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, receive a copy, or complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
To make a request, email sales@glasspacksupply.com. State the nature of your request and identify the account, inquiry or project concerned.
You can clear the live-chat visitor identifier through your browser’s site-data or local-storage controls. Blocking or clearing site data may prevent chat continuity. You can stop a WhatsApp interaction through WhatsApp’s own controls.
The first-party visit tracker does not record visits when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also clear analytics visitor and session identifiers through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing them does not delete analytics records already collected, and a later visit may create new identifiers unless such a signal is active.
9. Security and children
The Project Center uses password hashes, HTTP-only session cookies and request limits. Upload requests pass through file-validation and malware-scanning checks. These controls do not guarantee that internet transmission or storage is completely secure.
This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, email sales@glasspacksupply.com so that we can review it and, where appropriate, delete it.
