Pour wax warm into jars held at room temperature, not cold, to avoid thermal shock. Keep the wax line below the thread so the lid closes cleanly and the melt pool does not reach the neck. Size the wick for the jar diameter and burn-test the complete candle so the outer wall stays at a safe touch temperature. Fitting the lid after each burn helps preserve scent throw.

Jars are press-and-blow formed from an amber batch and annealed in a lehr, which is essential for a vessel that will hold a flame.
