The Boston round is one of the most universal shapes in packaging: a round body, a rounded shoulder and a short neck, equally at home in pharmacy, chemical and beverage use. For cold brew and cold-pressed drinks it gives a clean, sturdy, easy-to-fill bottle that takes a range of closures.
Its familiarity is the point. It is the dependable choice when a brand wants a no-fuss, recyclable glass bottle that runs well on standard filling lines.
We supply Boston rounds for cold brew and nitro coffee, cold-pressed juice, functional and wellness drinks, kombucha and tea, smoothies and shots, and dairy or plant-based milk. Amber glass is the usual choice for light-sensitive products such as coffee and some juices, while flint shows off a bright drink. Small 100 ml sizes work for wellness shots and concentrates, and the 1-liter size suits cold brew concentrate and café supply.
For still drinks we supply 28 mm and 38 mm CT finishes, typically capped with a tamper-evident band; crown and swing-top finishes suit lightly carbonated and nitro products. The round body spreads glass and any internal pressure evenly, and the straight sides give a generous label panel. Flint, amber and cobalt cover the common needs, with other tints on volume orders.
Still drinks fill simply with a CT cap; nitro and carbonated drinks need a pressure-capable finish and closure. Most cold brew and cold-pressed juice is kept in the cold chain. Where a drink is high-pressure processed, the HPP step happens in bulk before filling, because glass is not used for in-pack HPP. Keep the finish clean for a reliable seal.

Boston rounds are formed by blow-and-blow or NNPB, with the round body and shoulder defined in the molds; amber color comes from batch chemistry. Bottles are annealed, surface-coated and gauged for CT, crown or swing-top closures.
Screen printing, shrink sleeves, embossed logos and custom-colored caps are available, so a cold brew or juice brand can build a recognizable bottle on a standard shape.
