A conical or tapered body, often with a heavy base, and an FEA 15 crimp neck for a standard spray pump and a sculpted overcap. The taper concentrates glass differently from a straight body, so tooling manages the wall through the cone and engineers stability into the base. Frosting, spraying, lacquer and hot stamping express the concept.
Fragrance is filled cold and the spray pump crimped on after filling; crimp quality sets seal and spray. The cone's edges and any heavy base are the points to protect on the line and in packing. Alcohol-based fragrance is compatible with glass and standard pump components.
Formed by blow-and-blow or press-and-blow in a custom mold; the conical form and base are defined in the tooling, with care on glass distribution through the taper. Extra-flint glass gives clarity. After annealing, the FEA 15 neck is gauged for the crimp spray pump.
