Continuous Thread CT Aluminum Caps

A continuous-thread cap is the familiar screw cap, with a continuous helical thread that mates with the matching thread on the bottle finish — simple, resealable and universal. Making the shell from aluminum gives it a premium, weighty, recyclable feel that suits oils, vinegars, spirits and quality liquids, where a metal cap reads as a cut above plain plastic.

The seal is made by a liner inside the cap — foam, PV or PTFE-faced — that presses against the bottle bore or rim, with the liner material chosen for compatibility with the product.

Olive and seed oils, vinegars and dressings, spirits and liqueurs, syrups and sauces, pharmaceutical liquids, cosmetic and personal-care products, and premium beverages, across branded and private-label bottling.

An aluminum shell threaded to a standard CT finish (18–53 mm), lined with a PE-foam, PV or PTFE-faced wad that seals the bottle. Plain and tamper-evident band versions are available. Lithographed print, embossing and matte or gloss lacquers provide the finish and branding.

Apply at the correct torque so the liner seals without stripping the thread; match the cap thread and diameter to the bottle finish exactly. Choose the liner for the product — PTFE-faced for aggressive oils, solvents and spirits, foam for general use. Tamper-evident bands are specified where required.

The shell is drawn and threaded (or roll-formed) from lithographed aluminum, then a liner is inserted or molded in. Decoration is printed or embossed. Thread accuracy (to mate with the finish) and liner placement are the key quality checks.
