The wide-mouth jar is the classic package for creams and balms that are scooped rather than poured. Glass is the choice at the premium end because it is inert — it will not interact with rich emulsions or absorb fragrance — fully recyclable, and conveys quality through its clarity and weight.
An inner sealing disc sits on the product under the screw cap, reducing air contact, while the broad opening makes the last of the product easy to reach.
Our cream jars hold face, eye and body creams, body butters and balms, face and hair masks, lip balms and salves, pomades and solid perfumes. The range covers mass-premium through luxury skincare, along with spa and clinic lines. Small 5 ml and 15 ml sizes work for samples, eye creams and travel kits; 50 ml to 200 ml sizes cover retail face and body creams.
A wide continuous-thread mouth, commonly 38–70 mm, takes a screw cap and an inner disc or liner that seals the product. Caps range from plain smooth polypropylene to urea and metallized versions, including weighted caps for luxury lines. Where you want a smaller fill inside a larger silhouette, our double-wall and refillable jars are the natural next step. Frosting, spray coating and hot stamping are the most common finishes.
Creams are filled cold or warm, and the inner disc is seated on the product surface before capping to limit air contact. Cap liner and disc materials should suit the emulsion and any actives. Glass protects the formula well, but the wide opening exposes more product to air once in use, so a good inner seal and cap matter for shelf life. We can supply jars with discs and caps pre-assembled to speed up your line.
Wide-mouth jars are press-and-blow formed for an even wall and a clean sealing rim. Opal-white glass is opacified in the batch; frosting and spray coating are applied after forming. The sealing rim is inspected because both the inner disc and the cap seal onto it. We decorate with screen printing, hot stamping, frosting, spray coating and labels, and can match cap colors and finishes to your brand palette.
