Double-wall Aurora Cocktail Bottles

An iridescent or 'aurora' finish scatters light into shifting rainbow tones, and applied to a double-walled bottle it creates a genuinely luxurious, attention-grabbing object. The twin wall adds visual depth and a substantial feel, while the pearlescent coating makes the bottle change appearance as it catches the light.

It is packaging built for spectacle — for premium drinks, gifting and nightlife, where looking extraordinary on the shelf or in bottle service is the whole point.

Premium ready-to-drink cocktails, sparkling and shimmer drinks, gift and limited-edition spirits, liqueurs, festive releases, and nightlife and bottle-service presentations. The format is also collected for its appearance.

A double-wall body with a sealed cavity between the walls gives visual depth and a premium hand-feel, finished with an iridescent pearlescent coating over flint glass. Necks are finished for ROPP, crown or a custom premium cap. The coating is applied and cured after forming.

Only the inner wall contacts the product. Carbonated drinks need a pressure-capable closure and counter-pressure filling. The decorative coating is protected from scuffing in handling and packing, and double-wall bottles are heavier and bulkier than single-wall for the same fill, which is factored into packing and shipping.

Avoid extreme temperature swings with double-wall glass, and inspect the coating for even coverage and adhesion.

Double-wall glass is more specialized to produce than a single-wall bottle, requiring forming that creates and seals the cavity. After forming and annealing, the iridescent coating is applied and cured in a decorating lehr, then any print or hot stamp is added. Finishes are gauged for the closure.
