Overview & background
A double-wall candle glass has two glass layers with an insulating air gap between them. That gap slows heat transfer from the burning wax to the outer surface, so the outside of the vessel stays noticeably cooler and safer to handle and to stand on furniture, while also giving the glass a feeling of depth and weight.
The construction is more involved than a single-wall jar, so it is reserved for premium, gifting and design-led ranges where the cooler touch and the luxurious look justify the cost.
