Euro Dropper Essential Oil Bottles

The Euro dropper bottle is built around an orifice reducer — a small LDPE insert pressed into the neck that releases the oil one controlled drop at a time when the bottle is inverted. This gives consistent dosing without a glass pipette, slows evaporation of volatile oils, and limits how fast a child could access the contents when paired with a CR cap.

The 18 mm DIN neck is an industry standard, so reducers and caps interchange across suppliers, which has made this the universal essential-oil bottle worldwide.

A slim cylindrical body with an 18 mm Euro neck that holds the orifice reducer; the cap (often tamper-evident or child-resistant) screws over it. Amber is standard for UV protection; cobalt, violet (Miron-style) and flint are offered for appearance or extra light filtering. The reducer aperture sets the drop size.

Filled cold; the reducer is inserted after filling and must seat fully so it cannot be levered out and so it does not weep. Essential oils, especially citrus, can attack some plastics, so reducer and liner material compatibility should be confirmed. Volatile oils are light- and heat-sensitive — amber glass plus cool, dark storage preserves them and the reducer limits evaporation.

The bottle is narrow-neck formed with a precise 18 mm bore so the reducer snaps in and holds. Amber color is from batch chemistry. After annealing, the neck bore and thread are gauged for reducer and cap fit, which is critical for both dosing and seal integrity.
