Overview & background
Spray and lotion pumps are precision dispensing mechanisms. A fine-mist sprayer uses a pump and a small orifice to atomise a thin liquid into an even mist — ideal for toners, facial mists and body sprays — while a treatment or lotion pump delivers a fixed, metered dose of a thicker product like a serum, lotion or cream with one press.
The output is matched to the product: a treatment pump might deliver a tenth of a millilitre of precious serum, a lotion pump several millilitres of body cream. The dip tube reaches the bottle base so the bottle empties, and the pump gasket seals the neck.
