Frosted Candle Jars with Clear Window

Frosting a candle jar diffuses the light into a soft glow, but it also hides the wax and the flame. Leaving a clear window in the frost gets the best of both: the candle glows gently through the frosted areas, while the window gives a clean view of the flame, the wax color or a printed logo.

It is a simple two-texture idea that adds a focal point and a branding spot without extra components.

The format suits soy and coconut-wax candles and works well in multi-scent ranges where each wax color shows through the window. Hotels also use them for branded room candles.

The jar is a straight cylinder with a heavy base. Most of the surface is frosted by acid etching or spray coating, with a square or custom-shaped window masked off to stay clear. The window can sit on one face or repeat around the jar, and screen printing or foil can be placed inside the window or on the frost. Lids can be matched in wood, metal or glass.

Pour wax warm into jars held at room temperature to avoid thermal shock. The frost and window are external finishes and do not affect the burn. If the window frames your wax line, set the fill height so it sits consistently within the window across the run, and avoid wet spots by warming jars slightly. Wick for the jar diameter and burn-test the finished candle before launch.

Jars are press-and-blow formed and annealed, then frosted with the window area masked. We check frost evenness, window position and edge sharpness, base stability and rim quality.
