Frosting a candle jar diffuses the light into a soft glow, but it also hides the wax and any in-glass detail. Leaving a clear, unfrosted window in the frost gets the best of both: the candle glows gently through the frosted areas, while the clear window provides a focal point — a clean view of the flame, the wax color or a printed logo.
It is a simple, modern two-texture idea that adds visual interest and a branding spot without extra components.

A candle jar frosted over most of the surface with a masked clear window left in the finish, in flint or tinted glass. The frost is applied (etched or sprayed) with the window area masked off; print can sit in the clear window. The open mouth and wick are matched to the wax as in any container candle.
Pour wax warm into a room-temperature jar. The frost and window are external finishes that do not affect the burn; correct wicking keeps surface temperature safe per candle-safety testing. The masked window registration is checked so the clear area sits where intended relative to any label or print.
The jar is press-and-blow formed and annealed, then frosted (acid-etch or spray) with the window area masked to stay clear. Print can be applied in the window. Frost coverage, window registration, base stability and rim quality are the QC checks.
