Overview & background
Geometric glass globes — faceted, often soldered-edge forms with a side opening and a loop to hang them — became a modern décor staple for displaying air plants and succulents and for holding hanging tealights. Suspended at eye level, the faceted glass catches light and frames whatever it holds, whether a plant or a flame.
It blurs the line between terrarium, light and ornament, which is exactly its appeal in contemporary and event styling.
