Fragrance is one of the most-gifted product categories, and a bottle shaped like a heart or flower leans straight into that emotion. These figural flacons are designed as keepsakes — decorative objects for Valentine’s, bridal, anniversary and general gifting, where the bottle is part of the present.
Underneath the shape they use the same standard FEA 15 spray hardware as conventional perfume, so the novelty is in the glass, with no compromise in how the fragrance is dispensed.
These bottles are used for gift and seasonal fragrance, Valentine’s and bridal lines, body and hair mists, eau de toilette, teen fragrance, limited editions and souvenir perfume. They suit brands building a seasonal capsule around an existing scent, retailers developing private-label gift ranges, and tourist or destination fragrance where the bottle itself is the memento. A heart, flower or petal-shaped body carries an FEA 15 crimp neck for a standard spray pump and decorative overcap. The shape is defined in a dedicated mold, with a stable base engineered into the design. Spray coating in pinks, reds and pastels, frosting, hot stamping and applied gems are the most popular decorations, and clear extra-flint glass lets the fragrance color show through the curves.
Fragrance is filled cold and the spray pump is crimped on afterwards; crimp quality sets both the seal and spray performance. Figural shapes can have delicate or protruding features, so they need careful line handling, and filling may need custom pucks to hold the bottle upright. The bottles are formed by blow-and-blow in a custom mold, with attention to glass distribution in thin or protruding areas. They are annealed, then spray-coated or decorated and cured in a decorating lehr. The FEA 15 neck is gauged so the crimp pump seals. We can adapt existing heart and petal molds or develop a new figural shape, and match overcaps and colors to your launch theme.
