Classic colognes and aftershaves carry a barbershop and apothecary heritage, and the faceted octagonal bottle is a long-standing expression of it — the eight panels feel traditional and masculine and recall the cut-glass flacons of old grooming counters. The shape is itself a heritage cue.
Its flat facets are practical too, giving stable panels for an embossed crest, a wax-seal-style label or classic typography.
Cologne and eau de cologne, aftershave and splash, men's fragrance, barbershop and grooming ranges, beard and grooming tonics, and heritage or classic brands. The format suits gift sets and apothecary-style fragrance.
An octagonal faceted body with either a crimp neck for a spray pump or a splash/screw neck with a reducer for the traditional splash-on application. Flat facets carry embossing and labels; flint, amber and green glass suit different heritage looks. Corner radii manage strength at the facets.
Filled cold; spray versions have the pump crimped on after filling, splash versions take a reducer and cap. Alcohol-based cologne is compatible with glass and standard fitments. The faceted corners are the impact-sensitive points, protected in handling and packing.
The octagonal bottle is formed by blow-and-blow with the facets defined in the blow mold and even wall at the corners as the target. Annealed and coated; spray necks are gauged for the crimp pump, splash necks for the reducer and cap.
