Overview & background
Orcio means 'jar' or 'urn' in Italian, and the shape borrows from the classical amphora — a rounded belly tapering to a narrower base and a short neck. In glass it has become the signature honey jar, its curves signalling something hand-made and Mediterranean.
The wide mouth is practical as well as pretty: honey crystallises over time, and a broad opening lets a spoon or dipper reach set honey that a narrow neck would trap.
