Premium bird’s nest, collagen and peptide tonics, royal jelly and luxury honey. These are high-value products, often retorted or pasteurized for long ambient shelf life, and sold heavily as gifts through department stores, duty-free and travel retail.
The jar is almost always paired with a rigid gift box with foam inserts, which protects the faceted glass and reinforces the luxury cue.
Crystal-clear high-flint glass, molded facets and a heavy base create the cut-glass effect and a substantial feel in the hand. The mouth allows the product to be placed and inspected, and the finish is sized for a tamper-evident vacuum closure.
Facets complicate glass distribution, so tooling is designed to keep the wall sound at the edges while preserving the crisp angular look. For retort processing we offer heavier and borosilicate options.
Retorted jars go through a pressurized heat cycle with counter-pressure cooling, so glass grade and closure need to match the process, and the faceted edges need even glass to handle it. Buyers of premium tonics expect both an intact vacuum and visible tamper evidence.
