Real wood and bamboo lids make a closure feel warm, natural and tactile. The wood or bamboo forms the visible shell, with genuine grain and a pleasant hand-feel, while a plastic inner carries the thread and a liner does the sealing — so the lid looks natural and still closes reliably.
Bamboo is a popular choice because it takes crisp laser engraving and pairs well with clear and amber glass. Hardwood shells offer a wider choice of grain and tone for brands that want a richer look.
We supply wood and bamboo lids for candle jars, cosmetic and skincare jars, spice and food jars, reed diffusers, natural-beauty ranges, gourmet and artisanal foods, and gift and wellness sets. Candle brands use them as dust lids that come off before burning; skincare and food brands use threaded versions with a liner for a sealed pack. They suit any brand building a natural or refill-focused range around glass.
Each lid combines a bamboo or hardwood outer shell with a PP or PE inner that carries a continuous thread or a push-fit plug, plus a silicone ring, PE foam liner or inner disc for the seal. Sizes run from small 30 mm cosmetic caps to 110 mm candle and food-jar lids. Finishes include natural, stained and lacquered surfaces with laser-engraved logos. Grain and tone vary slightly from piece to piece, as with any natural material.
Match the inner thread or plug to the container mouth and the liner to the contents. Wood and bamboo should not be soaked, dishwashed or left wet, as they can crack, warp or stain, so advise consumers to wipe clean only. On candles, the lid is a cover and must be removed before lighting. For food and cosmetics, choose a liner suited to direct contact; we can supply material declarations for the liner and finish you pick.
Shells are turned or pressed from bamboo or wood, then sanded, sealed, lacquered or engraved, and the plastic inner and liner are assembled into them. Thread fit, seal performance, finish quality and color matching within a natural tolerance are our key checks. We laser-engrave logos, offer custom stains and lacquer finishes, and supply lids bulk-bagged with the liner matched to your container.
