The roller ball turns a small bottle into a precise skin applicator. A free-spinning ball in a plastic housing picks up a thin film of product and rolls it onto the skin with no spills and no finger contact, which makes it ideal for potent oils and serums applied to pulse points, temples or under the eyes.
We supply the bottle with stainless-steel balls as standard, and glass or gemstone balls for wellness-positioned ranges.
Typical fills are essential-oil blends, perfume and fragrance oils, eye and facial serums, roll-on deodorants, aromatherapy rollers and relief blends for headaches or sleep. The compact size suits travel, purse and on-the-go use, and multi-roller gift kits are popular in aromatherapy and natural-wellness retail. Gemstone balls such as rose quartz or amethyst add a cooling, massage-style angle to facial and eye products.
A small bottle — often amber for light protection — carries a roll-on neck that takes a snap-fit or screw-on roller housing. The housing holds a stainless-steel, glass or gemstone ball, and a screw overcap closes over it. The ball-and-housing fit controls flow and seals the bore between uses. Thick-wall versions give a heavier, more premium feel in the hand for fragrance-oil ranges.
Bottles are filled cold and the roller housing is pressed or screwed on afterwards. Essential oils can attack some plastics, so housing material should suit your blend; stainless-steel and glass balls resist most oils. Gemstone balls are natural stone and benefit from gentle handling. The overcap must seal over the ball to limit evaporation and leakage in a bag. Send us your formula and we’ll provide fitted samples for glide and leak testing.
The bottle is narrow-neck formed with a roll-on finish sized for the housing, and amber or cobalt color comes from the glass batch. The roller assembly is a separate component matched to the neck; bore and finish are gauged so the housing seats and seals. We offer screen printing, frosting, labels and foil stamping, overcaps in black, white, metallized or wood-grain finishes, and kits of mixed bottles for gift sets.
