Overview & background
Premium sake is sold in formats rooted in the gō, the traditional Japanese unit — the 720 ml yongō and 1.8 L isshōbin are standards, with the 180 ml ichigō as a single serve. A square, frosted bottle dresses these formats in a quiet, refined way: the matte etched surface diffuses light and reads as understated luxury.
The square body suits the vertical calligraphic labeling of Japanese drinks and stacks and ships efficiently, while the frosting differentiates a premium ginjo or junmai from a commodity bottle.
