Thick hair masks, treatments and styling pastes are scooped from a jar, often with wet hands in a bathroom, so the jar needs a wide mouth, real robustness and a quality feel. A straight-sided, heavy-wall glass jar provides all three: easy access, durability and the salon-grade impression that glass gives over plastic tubs.
The straight body is also the most practical shape for labeling and for stacking on a shelf or salon back bar.
Typical fills are hair masks and treatments, pomades and styling pastes, deep conditioners, scalp treatments, and body butters and balms. The jars are common in salon professional and back-bar ranges, men’s grooming and barbershop lines, and spa and wellness retail. Sizes from 50 ml to 500 ml cover travel and trial jars through to salon-size treatment tubs, all in the same straight-sided family.
A straight-sided body with a heavy wall and a wide continuous-thread mouth is closed with a screw cap over an inner disc. The heavy wall delivers durability and a premium weight; the wide opening suits thick products and makes the jar easy to clean out. The straight sides give a full-height label panel or print area. Frosting, spray coating, amber and flint cover the range of looks and any light protection needed.
Masks and pastes are filled cold or warm, with the inner disc seated to limit air contact. The wide mouth helps both filling and use. Cap and liner materials should suit rich, oil-heavy or active formulas. In wet bathrooms and salons, closures and labels need to tolerate humidity, and a clean sealing rim ensures the disc seals. We can supply jars with discs and caps pre-assembled for your line.
The heavy-wall jar is press-and-blow formed for an even, thick wall and a clean sealing rim, and careful annealing relieves stress in the heavier glass. Frosting or spray coating is applied after forming, and the sealing rim is inspected because the inner disc and cap seal onto it. We offer screen printing, foil stamping and labels, with caps in metallized, black or natural finishes.
